Martin Bain is the Chief Executive at Rangers. Martin joined Rangers in 1996, becoming commercial manager and he was the man behind sponsorship deals with NTL and Carling. He has been a board director since 2001 and was previously the Director of Football Business. He was appointed Chief Executive in 2005 as a reward for 10 years of service. He is thought to have been given a more 'hands on' role since Sir David Murray stood down as chairman and to be honest, he's done a pretty good job since then. With David Murray in charge, he seemed to be doing a poor job in finding extra revenue streams for the club as well as selling players for cut-price deals when we could have gotten more. He's also been thrown in at the deep end with the bank influencing matters at the club but fought for the club on numerous occasions behind the scenes.
